As you stay overnight on Tangier Island you'll enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Chesapeake Bay. Its sunsets and sunrises are as beautiful as you might ever imagine. Upon arriving on Tangier Island, you step back in time. No stop lights or highways, its small paved paths for golf carts and bikes. Other than walking, this is the island's only transportation.

The relaxing and peaceful atmosphere is enjoyed by all ages. Its swimming, clamming, fishing, crabbing, island tours & cruises, and shopping in our Island shops. We have a variety of great restaurants on the island which provide Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab meat entrees on their menus. Upon arriving on the island, your Sunset Inn Host updates all their Guests as to things to do while on the Island Those who visit enjoy coming back whenever possible, for those who cannot, precious memories abound for a lifetime.
