Open All Year Round, the Sunset Inn Welcomes All ! You will find our accommodations pleasing. The enchantment of the Island blended with our family atmosphere will create a lingering yearn to return to Tangier Island for years to come.

In order to accommodate you we have nine (9) cottages plus a Family Cottage and a Cottage Apartment available to Guest on a first come, first served basis.  The Family Cottage is a separate unit and has its own deck as shown above. Each cottage is designed for the Guest's comfort: large rooms, private bath, refrigerator, cable television, heat & air, and deck. 

Golf Cart Transportation is provided to and from the dock for Sunset Inn Guest who arrive and depart by boat.  We also accommodate those arriving and departing by plane. The Inn is located on West Ridge Road near the Tangier Airport and the beach. There are times that flights coming in stop on the runway closest to the Sunset Inn to drop off their luggage; then taxi back to the location where they tie down their plane to wait for the innkeeper to pick them up.  Is this not service with "a smile"..........    Transportation to and from dock/airport is included in all room rates!
